How BetterPass Is Funded

BetterPass is and always will be free to use. To cover hosting, development, and infrastructure costs, we display advertisements through Google AdSense. Advertising revenue allows us to keep every tool free, open, and accessible to everyone — with no paywalls, no accounts, and no subscription tiers.

What Ad Networks May Collect

When you visit BetterPass, third-party ad networks such as Google AdSense may:

• Place cookies on your browser to serve personalized ads
• Collect anonymous usage data such as page views, browser type, and general geographic region
• Use cookies to build a profile of your interests and show you relevant ads on other sites

This data is collected and handled entirely by the ad network — not by BetterPass. We do not have access to or control over what data ad networks collect.

What We Do NOT Share with Advertisers

BetterPass is a privacy-first toolset. Your tool data — including passwords, hashes, tokens, encoded data, and any other tool output — is never shared with advertisers or ad networks.

All tool processing happens entirely in your browser using the Web Crypto API. There is no server-side processing of your tool data, and ad networks have no technical ability to access it.

Your Choice

You are free to use ad blockers or browser privacy extensions when visitingBetterPass. Ad blockers will not affect the functionality of any tool — all tools run independently of advertising scripts.

You can also manage ad personalization settings directly through Google Ad Settings or opt out of personalized advertising via the Network Advertising Initiative opt-out page.

Third-Party Ad Services

We currently use the following advertising service:

• Google AdSense— served by Google LLC. Google's use of advertising cookies is governed by the Google Privacy & Terms page. You can learn more about how Google uses data here.

We do not currently use any other ad networks. If this changes, we will update this disclosure accordingly.

Changes to This Disclosure

If we change the advertising services we use or materially update how ads operate on this site, we will update this page with an revised date. We encourage you to review this disclosure periodically.
